Welcome to a New School Year!

Dear New 5^th Grader & Parents,

Hello! I am anxious to meet all of you, and I look forward to welcoming you to fifth grade in a couple weeks!

I am hopeful to have your full support for your children’s fifth grade experience. Together we can make a big difference in your children’s academic, social, and emotional growth in fifth grade. I’ll count on you from beginning to end.

Enjoy the last few days of your summer! Practice your skills and come back with enthusiasm and a great attitude.   See you at Meet Your Teacher Day!  August 3, 3:00-6:00 pm.  I can’t wait to meet you then!

Your child will need the following supplies:

¨   One 3-subject spiral notebook

¨  #2 pencils enough for the year

¨  Cap Eraser(s)

¨  2 Packs of WIDE RULED Loose leaf paper

¨  Two pocket folders with fasteners

¨   Pencil sharpener (that holds shavings)

¨   1 multi pack of sticky notes

¨   Tab dividers (5 pack)
¨   Head phones / ear buds
¨   1” 3 ring binder (No Trapper Keepers please due to desk space)

¨  Backpack (No rolling ones please)
